On 20 June afternoon, we entered the cooperation agreement online with the Siberian State University of Technology, Russia. President Min Zhao, Vice President Shuguang Cai, President of Siberian State University of Technology Jurjev Alexie, Vice Presidents Temryantsev Mikhail, Konovalov Sergei, and Voskresensky Igor, and Director of International Academic Research Center (Kuzbass) Mr. Kosnya Kovivan attended the ceremony. Directors from International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Postgraduate School, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and School of International Education also took part in the ceremony.

      President Min Zhao gave a speech. He expressed warmest welcome and heartfelt appreciation to the delegates from Siberian State University of Technology and International Academic Research Center (Kuzbass) who were present at the meeting, and proposed his great expectation towards the establishment of a high quality talent training system and a high-level cooperation in scientific research.

      President of Siberian State University of Technology Jurjev Alexie mentioned that they have been waiting for the cooperation with Chinese higher-education institutes. Since the establishment of cooperation with Wenzhou University in 2015, they have successfully trained two doctors and they have successfully won the funding program from Russian National Natural Science Foundation and they have high expectations for the cooperation between two institutions.

      Both Presidents signed the cooperation agreement online on behalf of their education institutions.

        Shuguang Cai introduced basic information about Wenzhou University from the aspects of disciplinary construction, local services, scientific research and innovation, and international education; meanwhile he also expressed the desire of and confidence in expanding international education exchange and extending cooperation with Siberian State University of Technology in order to achieve win-win.

      Vice President of Siberian State University of Technology Konovalov Sergei introduced basic information about the university and emphasized their intention to enhance cooperation about staff and student exchange, construction of scientific research platforms, creation of specialties and faculties, and international students education.

          The execution of the cooperation agreement laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between us and Siberian State University of Technology. Founded in 1930, Siberian State University of Technology is located in Novokuznetsk City, Russia, and it was jointly created by the Russian Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education. It is a famous high-education institution specialized metallurgical technology as well as a member of International Academic Research Center (Kuzbass).
