Exhibition of History of WZU in the Past 90 Years Since Its Founding Making an Appearance at the 58·59th Higher Education Expo China
From April 8th to 10th, the 58·59th Higher Education Expo China, with the theme of “contributing to high-quality development through integrating university, industry and local community” was held in Chongqing. Wu Yan, Vice Minister of Education, Du Yubo, President of China Association of Higher Education, and leaders and students from more than 1500 universities attended the event.
The Exhibition of History of Wenzhou University in the Past 90 Years Since Its Founding made an appearance in the University Zone of the Expo. The exhibition content included five major sections, namely, overview of development, landmark breakthrough, promotional videos, high-level talent recruitment and promotion of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral enrollment, and interactive experience of national intangible cultural heritage (hair embroidery). It comprehensively showcased the new image of Wenzhou University, spread its voice, and enhanced its reputation. Wu Yingce, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, Lv Hua, Second-level Inspector of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, and party secretaries and presidents of other universities visited the exhibition, and highly praised the achievements of Wenzhou University.
Wang Shun, Vice President of Wenzhou University was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Expo and gave a keynote speech at the President Forum on Engineering Education. At the fourth council meeting of the second session of the National Association of Local University Education Research, Pan Yuju, Vice President of Wenzhou University was elected as the executive director of the Association, making Wenzhou University the one which spent the shortest time upgrading into an executive director institute from the director institute. This proved that our reform and achievements were highly recognized by the Chinese Association of Higher Education, National Association of Local University Education Research and other universities.
More than 80 academic conferences and forumswere held in the Expo with over 120,000 attendees.

WZU Education Majors Achieve Sixth Place Nationwide in the 9th "Tian Jiabing Cup" National Teaching Skills Competition From December 29th to 31st, the finals of the 9th "Tian Jiabing Cup" National Teaching Skills Competition for education majors were held at Zhejiang Normal University.
