Due to the Covid-19 in 2020, the 5th China University Computer Competition-Team Programming Design was postponed several times. On November 28th, an online version competition was held in the computer room on the 1st floor of Building 5 of College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence. 935 teams from 298 universities in 29 provinces, and municipalities across the country participated in this online competition. 4 teams representing the University won 1 national third prize and 2 provincial third prizes. A total of 30 students from 3 teams won the prizes.

Compared with previous competitions, this year’s online event made the preparation and training more complicated. For example, the procurement of online cameras and other equipment, online training, online organization, etc. have greatly increased the difficulty of training and organization for the competition. However, our coaching team overcame the challenges, cooperated with the Undergraduate School, the College and other departments, and finally won the prizes. Let’s congratulate the prize winners and look forward to more students joining the teams in the coming year.
